I had a 4.0 GPA and received a Scholarship to SMU in 2006. My dreams were cut short when I was hit by a woman who failed to stop for a red light. I received a Traumatic Brain Injury and have been in hospitals and rehab centers for the last 2 years. My goal is to walk again, but my tremors are preventing me from walking. We can only hope it settles down. I work hard to get back the life I once had. I now want to be a therapist or counselor for others with tragedies like mine.
